The earth belongs to every living being
March 2006

Previous federal governments have discussed and even proposed a plan for a guaranteed annual income for each of its citizens. So far, nothing has been done. Poverty in Canada, and elsewhere, has increased over the last ten to fifteen years and it appears that very little will be done in the future to do something about it. I feel deeply that our planet belongs to every living being and that everybody should be sharing its benefits on a more equal basis. No one group owns the land, the sea and air that makes up our precious Earth, it belongs to all of us.
