Objections to Guaranteed Livable Income

Given that millions of people die every year from poverty and poverty related problems & diseases...why is there no universal Guaranteed Livable Income? There are three general catagories of objections:


However the real reason there is not yet a guaranteed livable income is because many people are dependent on poverty continuing to keep their jobs, including the many, many people whose job it is to study poverty, not to end it.
